KIRA Extremely Cool!

The perfect cooling system of a KIRA allows greatly increased continuous power. The size 650, for example, offers a real continuous power of 1200 W with only a weight of 330g, the price-performance relationship proving, once again, to be very good.

Only one gear ratio per size is necessary because the KIRA has a finer tuning of the winding types and a wider usage range. That means more convenience for you when choosing your perfect motor.

The gear boxes are maintenance-free, high-quality, needle-bearing KPG gear boxes, which have been tried and approved over many year.

The drive sets have been fitted perfectly to the performance of the KIRA motors.
For applications which need a 25 mm mounting hole distance, an adapter plate for KIRA 480 HC motors is available.

The KONTRONIK KIRA is available with the following configurations:

PYRO 700-52

In 3D helicopter flight a motor is heavily used. And it is exactly for this reason that a PYRO is well - equipped. It's special design and construction make it handle a continuous power of 3,000 W and a maximum of 5,000 Watt for 1 second.

To achieve this a high-quality Neodym material was used for the magnets heat resistible up to 150 °C.

The winding is made of an extremely heat resistant copper, normally used by the aerospace industry.

The rotating can additionally gets a precise balancing. So the thin section bearing is rendered unnecessary.

A continuous power of 3 kW produces a lot of heat – even in such an efficient motor as the PYRO. A new designed cooling stream enables the PYRO to release the heat absolutely reliably.

The PYROs are only available in specialised shops or can be purchased directly at KONTRONIK.

The PYRO in short:

• Neodym magnets, heat resistent up to 150 degree C
• Specialized wire, heat resisten up to 300 degree C
• Perfectly balanced
• Optimized metal sheets
• Optimized ventilation

The KONTRONIK PYRO is available with the following configuration:

PYRO 700-52

510 U/min/V
max. 25.000 U/min
rI 0,0027 Ohm
375 gr

PYRO 700-45

440 U/min/V
max. 25.000 U/min
rI 0,0035 Ohm
375 gr

MINI PYRO

The MINIPYRO 20-8 is the little brother of the PYRO 700.

He has also been developed especially for helicopter applications, and it's material configuration follows the same quality philosophy as the PYRO 700.

With a rotor length of 20 mm a new size was developed to accomodate the performance requirements of modern helicopters. 1,000 W continuous power all ow 3D acrobatic flight at its finest.

The MINIPYRO is available in specialised shops or can be purchased directly at KONTRONIK.

The MINI PYRO in short:

• Neodym magnets, heat resisten up to 150 degree C
• Specialiyed WInding, heat resistent up tp 300 degree C
• Perfectly balanced
• Optimized metal sheets
• Optimized ventilation

The KONTRONIK MINI PYRO is available with the following configuration:

MINI PYRO 20-08

1400 U/min/V
max. 32000 U/min
180 g
